Is certification included with rangehood installation?
Yes. All electrical work is certified with a Certificate of Compliance from a registered electrician.
Will I need new wiring for a rangehood?
If the kitchen has an existing rangehood circuit we can usually reuse it. New installs may need a dedicated outlet or hard-wired connection. We let you know during the quote.
Do you install integrated, undermount and freestanding rangehoods?
Yes. We install all rangehood styles including undermount, canopy, slide-out, integrated and island-mounted units.
Can you install rangehoods in apartments?
Yes. Apartments often need recirculating rangehoods because ducting through external walls is restricted by body corporate rules. We confirm what is allowed before quoting.
Do rangehoods need to vent outside?
Ducted rangehoods must vent outside through an external wall or roof. This is the most effective way to remove cooking moisture, smoke and grease. We run new ducting where required.
Can you replace an existing rangehood with a new model?
Yes. We remove the old unit, check the existing ducting and wiring, fit your new rangehood and test extraction before we leave.
Do you install ducted and recirculating rangehoods?
Yes, both. Ducted rangehoods vent cooking moisture and grease outside and are the better long-term option. Recirculating units filter and return air to the kitchen and suit apartments where ducting is not possible.
