This review is long overdue! Seriously Livewire is excellence personified. I rang them mid December desp needing fans asap in my apartment as our wee pug was suffering in the heat wave. I contracted Livewire Electrical as the most affordable and responsive company to replace our home's original (65 year old electrical meter/power board). What impressed was that, unlike other companies I have used before , they were noticeably attentive to my wishes (replacement at original position outside the home). Andrew, the electrician responsible was professional in every way. He kept me in the loop throughout the complete process, making sure that he was working within my expectations as the client. Andrew highlighted concerns for two faulty plugs that he could not pass and these were replaced as a separate job. Although more costly than I had expected, happy with the result.I also need to mention their office manager, Natalie Taniwha. A bit tongue in cheek - sorry Natalie :-). In Māori mythology, Taniwha expresses many forms; water spirit, monster, dangerous water creature, powerful creature, chief, powerful leader, something or someone awesome (Wiki description) Natalie, office manager is just that - someone who managed the project from point A to Z, commander in chief, with pinpoint precision, focussed and in command, every step of the way.(I am sure all employees at Livewire Electrical will agree?) Payment? You better be on time or she will be snapping at your heels! Joking aside, I commend them for their professionalism and commitment to a high standard of work.All round10/10!

From Q/A's to payment options was a first relief, awesome Natalie. Then you have the sparky duos (Andrew & Tom) coming in to take care of the hard work that comes with this 1950s house wiring. We called this company for the first time last year with an urgent electrical problem and Kent was at our house within 20 minutes of my telephone call. He was efficient, and I could tell that he was working to get the job done asap. He was informative and made sure to thoroughly clean up when he had finished. A huge contrast to the bad experience we had with a different electrical company previously. So we didn’t hesitate to call Livewire a couple of days ago.
