Do I need a switchboard upgrade for an EV charger?

What size EV charger do I need at home?
Most Auckland homes are well served by a 7kW single-phase charger which adds around 40km of range per hour. If you have three-phase power and high daily mileage, a 22kW charger is worth considering. We help you size it during the assessment.
Can EV chargers be installed outdoors?

Is three-phase power required for an EV charger?

Do I need power provider approval for an EV charger?
